There's an unusual story behind this one: I did a trade recently and asked the person I was trading with for their best Shane MacGowan bootleg. They sent me "Gin Lane, Beer Street" and I noticed two things about it - first, that one of the filler tracks was different to what was listed ("Boys of Kilmichael" in place of "Working on the Railway ") and second, that two of the tracks from the Stockholm set (t1 "If I should fall from Grace with God" and t4 "A Pair Of Brown Eyes") were mp3 sourced. I never found out the reason for these discrepancies. I thought about just torrenting the Clapham tracks, then decided to add the non-lossy Stockholm songs as filler. What's here is not "Gin Lane, Beer Street", hence the name change. If anyone can torrent the rest of the Clapham show, non-lossy missing Stockholm songs, or any other Shane please do so. I know we've had Pogues torrents before, but I think this is the first Shane & The Popes torrent. Enjoy!
