Some folks might see Belly as just another one of those transitory bands that emerged in the post-Nirvana alternative onslaught. To me, they were one of the few bands of that era that had the potential for greatness and disappeared far too prematurely, though Tanya continues to make great music today. They were catchy and arty, had a real edge, intriguing lyrics and melodies, etc. etc.
