I thought we were just going out for Janice's birthday on September 11, 2003 ...
however Rick had other plans.  WE GOT ENGAGED!  We were married just 6 short weeks later on October 25th.  What a crazy 6 weeks it was!!  Everyone pitched in and helped ... we couldn't have done it without you.
A BIG Hug and Thank You!
We decided to do something different and have a Halloween Backyard Barbeque Wedding.  Everyone came in costume.  It was so much fun!

Karen, Bev and Joel Erickson cooked the food.  We had barbeque chicken and tri-tip, twice baked cheese potatoes, with salad and veggies.  Everyone raved about the food.  There are no words to describe how good it was!  A very special THANK YOU and HUGS for this wonderful feast!
Grant Dagg was our DJ and did Karokee for us.  He had everyone boggieing and singing their hearts out.  The neighbors across the street brought tables and chairs to the middle of the cul-de-sac and had their own street party (by our music), while other neighbors were hanging out their windows and having fun with us.  Some of our guests got up and sang Karokee ... they said they never would.  THANKS and a big HUG for Grant!
Another good friend, Candy, was out photographer.  She took the most beautiful pictures and allowed us to save this day forever.  I am not sure how she kept her cool trying to get everyone to cooperate, but she did it!  A big HUG and THANK YOU!

My new sister-in-law, Summer, and my new mother-in-law, Karen, helped SO MUCH.  They helped with the decorations and a million other things.  Summer put up all the lights in the backyard, while Karen did the tables and the rest of the yard. It was just beautiful!  HUGS and a big THANK YOU to both of you!
What would I do without my best friend, Janice?  A HUGE HUG and THANK YOU to her!  She threw a beautiful Wedding Shower for me and made Rick and I a scrapbook.  Everyone had to make a page for it.  It was really fun and the scrapbook is beautiful.  She also loaned me her veil and was my Maid of Honor (she refuses to be called the Matron of Honor so I humor her ... hehehe)  There are NO words for how special this was and how much it meant to me.
What can I say ... Amy, Grandma (or Nana to those under 5) and Poppy have opened their hearts and home to me since the day I met and became part of this family.  They allowed us to have our wedding at their home.  I don't think they will ever know how much this meant to us.  THANK YOU just doesn't seem to be enough here.
A REALLY BIG HUG and THANK YOU!
A HUGE Thank You to my Mother, my Aunt Barb and my Aunt Marge for their love, support, warm wishes, hugs and smiles, and for flying out here from Chicago to be part of our day.  It meant so much to us that you were here!

Another dear friend, Cathy, created this website for us.  She overheard that we had family and friends that wouldn't be able to attend our wedding.  Now with through this website everyone can feel a part of our day.  No words can express our gratitude for your wonderful gift. A really BIG Hug and THANK YOU!
All in all it was the MOST WOMDERFUL DAY for us, and for our family and friends! THANK YOU ALL for your warm wishes, support, love and smiles.  You are all very important to us and we wouldn't be here without everything everyone has done for us!!!
