| Fall 2006 Head of the Charles Regatta Boys 2x Results Girls 4+ Reults Girls 8 Results Sportsgraphics Photos ______________________________________________ MPSRA Fall Championships Results Photos The singles, doubles and novice 4 events were all canceled because of high winds and choppy water. This knocked out our boys and girls 2x's and our girls novice 4. In their first race ever, our girls novice 8 turned in a 5th place finish beating one other crew - after only practicing two days a week! Results: Shrewsbury 10:01, Cape Cod 10:43, Duxbury 10:55, Worcester 11:41, CRLS 12:05, Lowell 13:23 Our girls 4 earned a silver medal behind Worcester. Looking very smooth and relaxed, they passed the crews in front of them and crossed the finish line several minutes ahead of the next boat. Worcester, starting in the back of the field, fought the length of the field and bested us by 20 seconds. Can you say spring re-match! Results: Worcester10:23, CRLS 10:42, Duxbury10:52, Lowell 10:53, Bromfield 11:06, Worcester B 11:14, Shrewsbury 11 The girls 4x earned the gold medal. Having rowed in the boat for a week, the crew shoved from the dock confident but questioning but then showed off the strength of our program - consistent training and basic technical skills. They navigated a chaotic starting order and earned the second Mass. States gold CRLS has ever won. Results: CRLS 12:22, Cape Cod 12:52, Mystic Valley 18:02 |
