Developing Multimedia
Poems
This lesson helps students discover
how technology can aid in complementing and extending the meaning of a
poem. This is accomplished by
transforming your poem into a multimedia format. Using different fonts, colors, text
movements, slide transitions and effects assists with adding visual elements to
your poem. (This lesson may be adapted
to a poem written by the student or an already published poem).
Objectives
q Create
a multimedia presentation that will extend and compliment the meaning of your
poem.
q Use
text, color, movement, sound and other design elements.
