Where to start with Interests when you have so many...I think the main thing that's captured my imagination recently is the Chinese culture which has so many elements to it such as.........
Whatever they are symbols for,  they are a sight to see (China has that Dragon dance on New years Day, whenever you get the chance, watch one Awesome)
Why some people think that Dragone are evil is found in Enuma Elish, A metropolitamian  creation of epic written about 2000 B.C  One of the main characters in this classis is the the goddess Tiamat, a dragonlike personification of the oceans, who headed the hordes of chaos.  In the sacred writings of the Hebrews, the dragon is the symbol of death and evil. Christianity sort of 'inherited' the Hebraic look at the Dragon.  In Christian art, the dragon is a symbol of sin. Lots of times the Dragons are painted crushed at the feet of Saints and Martyrs, which symbolises the triumph of Christianity over Paganism.

As everyone knows, the stereotypical dragon breathes fire, had bumpy skin, wings and is Humongous. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, that's what I think they look like too!

The Picture below also dictates how a different genre, ie fantasy, can change the way a dragon looks from its chinese counterpart making it a more ferocious looking animal to serve the writers need for evil.te
