| I know I need a light for them and Chick Starter Feed. Give them also, clean water source and fresh pine shavings that are chemical free. A thermometer to keep the box at constant 95 degrees constantly is a MUST. Chicks will get sick if this is NOT done. I use a large Rubbermade container to house them in. Drill a hole for the lamp to hang inside. Chickens have NO Way of warming their own bodies until they get their feathers. |
