Our Crazy Rating System(s)
Well, basically, we give each movie two ratings.
Main Rating - You'll notice that the rating for each movie is not a normal number, but an amount of money. Confusing? It's simple. The number is the amount of money the reviewer feels that she would pay to see the movie. It can be anything from 50 cents to 50 dollars. This rates the overall quality of the acting, script, production, special effects, music, etc. etc.
Hot Factor - This is a number from one to ten that is simply a rating of how many good looking actors and actresses there are in leading or supporting roles. Thus, a movie can be worth 3 cents and still have a hot factor of 10. This has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the movie, though some people seem to think it does.
