The chemistry between meg Ryan and tom hanks in hollywood movies has been famous forever. It all began in the timeless classic Sleepless in Seattle. You've got mail again brings out the romance we all love between these two talented actors. The remake of the old film Little shop around the corner employs e-mail rather than letters. Two rival bookstore owners think they hate each other when really communicating through e-mail and consequently falling in love despite their apparent hate for each other. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan lead their own lives filled with witticisms and what not. But, at the end of their days they return to their laptops to continue their online romance. At the end it all comes together in a series of scenes filled with so much dramatic irony you can't help but let out a gleeful giggle.

Carolyn and Jessica both enjoyed this sappy comedic romance for what it stood for in todays society. This was not so much about an online romance as it was about the way we can mistake people for what they are instead of who they are. Maybe perhaps the internet is the only way we can truly can discover who we are and illuminate other souls.
