| SAVING PRIVATE RYAN Rated: R Starring: Tom Hanks, Matt Damon Genre: Drama Released: 1998 Length: 170 min Can a great opening scene make up for a dreary, boring and unemotional movie? Absolutely not. Hate me for this if you wish, but I simply did not like this box-office smash. It dragged on and on, with to much pointless dialogue and random, pointless scenes. I realize it was suppose to be the most touching and moving war movie ever made... but to me it was sloppy and dull. Whatever. I give it: 2 stars |
