| RED PLANET Rated: PG-13 Starring: Val Kilmer, chick from Matrix Genre: Science-Fiction Released: 2000 Length: 105 min A decent Mars movie with a simple plot sums up this one. A group of astronauts are going to mars to see if Mars can be the next Earth. You see, Earth is on the brink of destruction, and us humans need a new home. We're all hoping Mars will be that home. In this flick, we sent up large quantities of algee to develop oxygen on Mars, but after awhile the oxygen levels start to decrease. So, in comes our heroes to figure out whats wrong. On their adventure they encounter ship failure, a bad landing, injuries, deception, a killer robot, and find out that they are not alone in the universe... so anyway, its pretty good. Worth renting Id say. I give it: 3 stars |
