| JURASSIC PARK 3 Rated: PG-13 Starring: Sam Neil, William H. Macy Genre: Action/Horror Released: 2001 Length:92 min I waited a year for this flick to come out. Sad isnt it? Im sorry to say, this review is probably a little biased. I am a huge fan of the Jurassic Park movies. This one didn't hinder my admiration for the series at all. I understood before I entered the theatre for the first time to watch this movie, not to expect a plot. The plot is paper thin. A boy gets lossed on Dinosaur island. Enter Dr. Grant and others to fetch him. The action scenes however, are mind-blowing. The Spinosarous is the new "baddie" in JP3, and he quickly assumes this head spot, early on in the flick when he meets up with a T-Rex in a visually awesome Dino Fight. Yes, this movie is pure Hollywood. But my, it is pure Hollywood at its best. Some people say dinos have grown tiresome on the big screen. For me, I will always find magic in seeing some nasty prehistoric carnivore hunt down the idotic prey known as humans. Just sit back and enjoy. Dont think... just enjoy. I give it: 4 stars |
