| Jeepers Creepers Rated: R Starring: teenagers Genre: Horror Released: 2001 Length: 95 min Finally! A modern horror movie that is scary and accomplishes it's freaks and shrieks through a plot which is largely left unexplained. A perfect horror flick, this scary and freaky film is about two teenagers driving through the heartland of America when they discover a strange man shoving bodies down a giant drain pipe...curiousity killed the cat. The movie achieves it's spookiness by never really explaining who the antagonist is and by throwing in random scenes which add to the oddity of the proceedings. Dark and twisted, this movie may remind some of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre; one difference--this movie is by far, the superior. I give it: 5 stars |
