| HELLRAISER Rated: R Starring: Andrew Robinson, Clare Higgens Genre: Horror Released: 1987 Length: 90 min Pinhead, one of the most famed of all super-villians makes his debut in this cult classic. The plot is that a man finds a box that opens a doorway to a dimension of pain. He gets pulled into that dimension. When his brother and his brother's wife move into the house he had occupied, things get weird. He comes back from this dimension in an unusual way, but is mostly blood and tissue. He needs fresh human mean to help regenerate him and gets his brother's wife to help him out. However, the creatures who held him captive in the other dimension want him back and come looking. The plot is very creative, and if they could have explained a few more things this movie would have been a real classic. As it is, any horror fan should see it. I give it: 3 stars |
