| CHOCOLAT Rated: PG-13 Starring: Juliette Binoche, Johnny Depp Genre: Comedy/Drama Released: 2001 Length: 120 min An odd, but fairly amusing tale about a woman who opens up a chocolate shop in town, and helps change everyones life, mostly for the better. Conflicts arise with the mayor who opposes the shop, and other stuff. You know the drill. The characters are well drawn, and some of the scenes are laugh-out-loud funny. Its a sweet, harmless film. However, its easy to see how one can get bored fast by watching this. I give it: 3 stars |
