| CHARLIE'S ANGELS Rated: PG-13 Starring: Lucy Lu, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Bill Murray Genre: Action Released: 2000 Length: 90 minutes The movie is a step above the TV show, but just barely. These three women are nothing more then eye candy for the public. Certainly they weren't hired on for their acting or fighting skills...were they? I tried contemplating this question, while I watched a very drab movie. Drab. I can't think of a better word for it. Im not quite sure what drab is, but I know that that is the best word for Charlie's Angels. Granted, their are a few cool scenes, but that couldn't make up for much. The one-liners are awful by the way. I suppose you should rent it if you don't take your movie-watching too seriously and aren't too critical, but for those who love movies and have seen the best of the best, stay far away from this one. I give it: 2 stars |
