| BEAN Rated: PG-13 Starring: Rowan Atkinson Genre: Comedy Released: 1997 Length: 90 min A few very clever and very funny sequences can't save this movie which fails to entertain. The movie fail's because it is so simple. A comedy is naturally exagerrated, and over-the-top. This one really isn't. It uses the basic formula of a normal man who brings a clutzy stranger (Bean) into his house, and soon finds that his entire life has gone to pieces. Yawn. Atkinson's "Bean" character is usally a hoot, but not in this one. I give it: 2 stars |
