| The little magical word in Internet is FREE! The same way, the little miraculous word of GOD is FREE! All along the four thousand years of history captured on the Bible, who was saved by works? The answer is obvious: NOBODY! Who obeyed perfectly the Law of Moses? Not even one human being, except JESUS CHRIST, who is the Son of GOD. JESUS CHRIST was able to fulfill all the requirements of the Law for the simple reason that He is a perfect Human Being. The Law was not given to save anybody, but, instead, so we can know the deceitful power of sin and our miserious condition before the eyes of a three times holy GOD (Romans 3:20). I say miserious in case we recognize our original sin in Adam and Eve, our present sins here and now, and our potential sins that can spring up wildly anytime. The person who does not acknowledge his sin is not a miserious person, but -even though it seems rude saying it- he is a miserable human being before the divine eyes, due to the fact that he offends GOD every single moment of his arrogant attitude plagued by his unrepented heart. The miserious person receives GRACE and PEACE and SALVATION, while -for the miserable soul- the holy wrath of GOD is awaiting him if he doesnt repent right on time, even though he will ultimately be saved after the remedial punishment (I Timothy 4:10; Titus 2:11; Romans 5:18). And what does it mean to repent? Thats it! To change ones mind! And what does it mean to change ones mind? Simply put, it is to be aware of what I am saying. It is to stop once and for all to try to self-justify ourselves before God through our own works, which are filthy rags according to GOD (Isaiah 64:6; Romans 3:9-24). Once we forsake to establish our own self-righteousness by accepting instead the righteousness of GOD in CHRIST JESUS, then we have passed over from death to LIFE and we automatically have FREE Eternal Life (John 5:24).
But, to be sure, I am also deeming all to be a forfeit because of the superiority of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, because of Whom I forfeited all, and am deeming it to be refuse, that I should be gaining Christ, and may be found in Him, not having my righteousness, which is of law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is from God for faith. (Concordant Literal New Testament, by Concordant Publishing Concern A. E. Knoch-) |
