The carnival will include merry-go-round rides, face painting, create a costume, make a puppet, and other activities throughout the day. Other one-time activities will include animals on parade at 11:00 am, clown circus at 1:00 pm, and science experiments at 3:00 pm. A snack bar will also be open all day for the carnival.
Museum director, Sarah Troy, was eager to announce the first-time event; “We have been planning for months and are anxious for the children and families to enjoy such a positive event.”
For children 2-12 years old, the museum can be visited regularly Tuesday through Sunday 10:00am- 5:00pm to enjoy hands on activities while learning about science, math, art, and music. Cultures from around the world are captured in many of the museum’s exhibits.
