A few steps from the Fenway, at the corner of Longwood and Brookline Avenues, we lost this beloved young man as he fought to defend his boss.
Cristian died while struggling to live and study in a place that he loved, while saving and dreaming to visit the land of his ancestors. He was young, healthy, creative, communicative, multicultural and diverse � all attributes that the community envisions for the Urban Village.
In order to honor his bravery and inspire our ongoing work, the corner of Longwood Avenue and Brookline Avenue deserves to be renamed in honor of Cristian.
