We have no idea how it came to grow in our jungle as it was in an 'abandoned' part of the yard well away from the flower beds. The little jungle birdies aren't telling us either.... no matter how we bribe them with seeds! *winks*

| This was the worst thing in my yard this year (even worse then the sunflowers). We couldn't figure out what it was but my hubby liked it so let it grow....that is till it started growing berries. Hubby asked me to get on the net to try to find out what the thing was...took me a couple of weeks before i found out it was a poke!!! And dangerous if eaten. Thank goodness we didn't let the 4 year old touch them pretty purple berries till we found out. And hubby was none too happy when I wigged out a tad and made him go after it with his hand hatchet. Took him over 2 hours to cut that thing down and dig up all the roots! Because of course by the time we realized what that it didn't belong in this bit of jungle it was HUGEEEEE!
