| it was the dreariest day - two and a half hours on a school bus in a misty rain, then a torrential downpour when we actually arrived. just at the end of the day, as we were packing it in for the ride home, the clouds broke and a golden light poured forth from the heavens. it's L.A., so even after the dampness, it was smoggy and traffic-riddled (take a gander at the the San Diego Freeway at the front of the photo), but goddamn...what a great view. |
