This is a shot of the drillers control panel and you can slao see part of the draw works with the 1" cable on the drum running to the crown to make it's 6 runs between the crown shivs and the blocks used for running pipe and kelly up and down. |

This one is just for laughs. This is a tub of drill pipe. Each one ranges in length from 29' to 33' and range in weight between 700 to 800 pounds. After jumping up there and snagging one with one mit and lifting it about waste high meaning only lifting maybe not even half it's full weight I coned the Mrs. into trying it by saying see they aint that heavy. Almost showed a brown spot on her shorts there. hehehehehe |
