| Sophomore year...a lot of things happened that year. I started the quotebook at the end of sophomore year, but some things, like my nickname "Crispy", are from the beginning of the year. Let's see. Hanson (and those stories..*cringe*) were still around. Sitting in front of the gym in the mornings became routine for most of us; everyone else joined junior year. This was the year that the famous suicide scene from Titanic was re-enacted (names will not be revealed to protect the innocent, lol). Friendships strengthened and weakened. I cruised the mall with many different people. More people were added to our bus group, and that was the last year for the bus. I was no longer afraid of Kristin, lol. Kelly Raymond was a freshman, and she was a part of our group. Pickleball was our new favorite game in Gym class...Kelly and I were the undefeated defeated pickleball champions!! There was pilo-polo after school. We had Driver's Ed (my class RULED...I had Lauren, Erin and Kimmer in it, lol). With Driver's Ed comes learning to drive, and most of us did that. Biology sucked, but I had people in there to keep me laughing. And Religion class...with those two insane religion teachers...made life..interesting. :) Maly, Erin, Katie V and I had fun in that class, lol...especially when Katie V would yank my hair in the middle of class after the teacher told us to be quiet, causing me to suppress a scream. Also, those lost self-esteem essays (namely..MINE) helped build character...i guess. ;) Espanol with Senora Soplop and my Spanish buddies Amanda and Danielle ruled...that was the only year I liked Spanish. Geometry was where Amanda and I counted down the minutes in class, and had to deal with a scatterbrained teacher. I think we all had fun. And now I will leave you with the infamous words of one of our Religion teachers..."Always pray before you have sex, girls...it feels better!!!" (Now you know why we're all screwed up, lol..) |
