Howdy Yall! I appreciate you stopping by my Texas website. For those of us fortunate enough to be natives of the Lone Star State, the only thing better than living here is tellin' other folks all about our great and glorious homeland of TEXAS! I am about as "Texan" as they come bein' born in the great city of San Antonio de Bexar, a little more than a stone's throw from the Shrine of Texas Liberty herself. I grew up and still live today on the family ranch in La Salle County down in the rolling brush country of South Texas. The land where I reside right now has been worked on by myself, my father, my grandfather, my great-grandfather and my great-great-grandfather before him. When my work on the ranch allows I also take classes at Texas A&M International University in the "Gateway City" of Laredo.
Right close by are my parents, grandparents and my sister. She lives in my greatgrandparents old house and has given me two cute little nieces: Melaney and Alison. If I ain't on the ranch or in Laredo there's usually only two other places I could possibly be: either at my local parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cotulla praying for God's mercy or way up north in Alberta, Canada visiting my best friends Alan and Keiron Goudman, parents of my other little niece the adorable Elizabeth; who is also my goddaughter. For those who don't know, Alberta is the Canadian version of Texas; so it's the best province they got up there.
In the area of politics I am a proud conservative and have voted mostly Republican in every election since reaching legal age. I don't agree with them on everything, but since the Democrats seem to want to do nothing but raise taxes, sell out to the UN, kill babies, attack God, destroy our culture and take away our guns, the GOP is pretty much the only option. That being said, where I live, though Texas is a very conservative state, south of San Antonio is very much Democrat country and sometimes there are only Democrats to choose from, but luckily even the Democrats in Texas are at least somewhat conservative. They still want to raise taxes and destroy our culture, but they know better than to try to take away Texans' guns or mess with the death penalty. My favorite political voice is the lovely Ann Coulter, she's my kinda girl; tough, conservative and gorgeous too. She may be the only good thing to ever come out of the state of New York since the American Revolution.
My favorite things to do are Texas & southern history (I was a member of the San Antonio Living History Association for a few years), going horseback riding, chatting with the Canadians, driving way too fast around the ranch and shooting at all the bad critters that hang around. When it comes to college my favorite subject is history and my absolute worst is math -or pretty much anything with numbers & formulas -yuck! I also love classic country music such as Hank Williams, George Jones (Texan), Willie Nelson (Texan) and my favorite TV show of all time was "The Dukes of Hazzard" (except of course for the 'Coy & Vance' episodes and the ones with toy cars in them-ugh). Anyway, I hope yall like my website & learn a few things about the Great, Free, State of Texas. Yall come back ya hear!
