is it too much to ask of you
to love me the way you are supposed to...what is wrong with me that made you leave, what did I do to deserve this rejection I recieve...is it too much to ask of you to at least try to call, so I could hear your voice, a voice I haven't heard at all...is it too much to ask of you to maybe write to me sometime, do you even think about me...or am I just a lost cause from another time...is it too much to ask for you to have been a dad...do you realize how you've affected my life...caused me to be so sad...
is it too much to ask of myself to move on with my life...to let you be just a guy i wouldn't know from any other...is it too much to ask of myself to give up hope on finding your love...and accept that I am not important to you...is it too much to ask of myself to conceal the pain you've caused me, to just forget about you completly...yes it is too much to ask of myself...
so instead I ask my God to help me forget you..i turn to Him and he guides me through...and through Him I learn...that it would've been nice to have you around...but I dont need you for in Him love is found...the only love i need...i just hope you are more considerate now..forget about me I will be ok...I will get through this with the love of my God...but if I have any sisters out there...take the love you could have sent my way and give it them, love them more and more each and everyday...
