AJ Styles is in the quarterfinals of the North American Title Tournament, where he will be taking on Chris Hero. He was looking to keep himself fresh by taking on a match with Shark Boy to open up High Voltage. Now Shark Boy hasn't exactly had a ton of success in Global Championship Wrestling, but he can still be dangerous (just ask Teddy Hart). Shark Boy didn't exactly have that dangerous edge tonight though, and despite a solid effort, AJ Styles looks tough to beat right now as he finished this one off with the Styles Clash.
AJ Styles pinned Shark Boy with the Styles Clash in 0:06:57.

AJ Styles continues to roll, which makes his chances in the North American Title Tournament seem a little bit better. With the way Chris Hero performed this past Monday in defeating Goldust, he's going to need to be on a roll.
In GCW, the tag team division at the top is very clear. The Basham Brothers, the World's Greatest Tag Team, and the Hardy Boyz are sitting at the top. Right below them are several teams jockeying for position. Two of those teams were in action against each other tonight in an important match for position in the tag team rankings between Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore and the Italian Stallions. These two teams are very evenly matched, but the one major thing Conway and Dinsmore have over Mark Jindrak and Chuck Palumbo is experience, and that would turn out to be vital in this match. Palumbo and Jindrak made some mistakes late, including Jindrak accidentally nailing Palumbo with a clothesline intended for Conway, which gave the Ironman the opening for the Tornado DDT and the win.
Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore defeated The Italian Stallions (Chuck Palumbo and Mark Jindrak) when Conway pinned Jindrak with the Tornado DDT in 0:10:45.

A good win for Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore as they keep the momentum going after almost taking the World Tag Team Titles a couple of weeks ago. They keep this up and they'll have another title shot sooner than later.
Paul London hasn't had the best couple of weeks, not only failing to win the World Tag Team Titles at Retribution, but it appears that he and partner Billy Kidman are on the outs. But on the bright side, London is still the Cruiserweight champion, and he had a title defense against the former champion, Low-Ki. There's not many people who can adjust to Low-Ki's unorthodox style, but London's style isn't exactly standard either. Low-Ki may not mesh well with a lot of people in the ring, but he certainly knows how to put a hurting on somebody with those stiff kicks. And even though London is great on offense, he can take a beating too and is more than willing to put his body on the line to win a match, prompting the crowd to chant "Please don't die!" during this match when London flew to the outside with a somersault plancha. Low-Ki had a lot of offense, but in the end, his attempt to regain the Cruiserweight Title fell short as a result of the London Calling.
Paul London pinned Low-Ki with the London Calling in 0:08:02.

A successful title defense for Paul London. Tomorrow night, Billy Kidman will be in action, and it's been said that London is looking to confront Kidman. Will Kidman apologize for walking out on London, or will the wedge be driven even further between the two?
Our main event was our second of two title matches as GCW President Ryan Niemiller's favorite wrestler (Sarcasm Mode: OFF) Christopher Daniels defending his Television Title against his former running buddy, "Prime Time" Elix Skipper. The Prophecy was in a foul mood again tonight, and that didn't bode well for Elix Skipper. The Prophecy took Rey Mysterio Jr. out on Explosion by putting him through the announce table. Mysterio didn't suffer any major injuries, but he is being kept off of tomorrow's show as a safety precaution. Daniels wouldn't need Sean O'Haire or a table tonight though, as he was in no mood to mess around in this one. Skipper hardly had a chance to get out of the blocks before the Fallen Angel was all over him. Skipper didn't get much offense in before he was overwhelmed and taken out by Daniels and the Angel's Wings.
Christopher Daniels pinned Elix Skipper after the Angel's Wings in 0:03:23.

Christopher Daniels keeps the Television Title as we head into Salt Lake City, Utah for Monday Night Explosion tomorrow night. After the fines that were handed down to the Prophecy last week, will Daniels once again be looking for GCW President Ryan Niemiller? Only time will tell, but we do know that we will see two quarterfinal matches in the North American Title Tournament with Monty Brown taking on Sean O'Haire and The Hurricane taking on Steve Bradley! And in the main event, Randy Orton will take on Abyss! If Orton wins, he will meet Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight Title at Trick or Trouble! We'll see you there!
