Six short days and nights are all that separate us from now and the biggest pay-per-view event of the year, Super Cade! Tensions and emotions are most definitely running at a fevered pitch as we stopped in the home of the Red Sox, Boston, Massachusetts for Monday Night Explosion! We knew both World Heavyweight champion Chris Benoit and number-one contender Kurt Angle were in the house, and after what went down last week with Benoit's wife Nancy, things had the potential to get very ugly. Before we got to our first match, we were told hat on tonight's program, we would see the World Tag Team champions the Basham Brothers and Rob Van Dam team up to take on the World's Greatest Tag Team and Tommy Dreamer in six-man tag team action. Also, The Hurricane would go one-on-one with Teddy Hart, as well as the monster Brock Lesnar locking horns with Lance Storm. But first, we had Paul London taking on Eric Angle in our opening contest.
Eric Angle has certainly been impressive in GCW rings thus far, wanting to prove that he belongs here not just because of who his brother is. He had no easy task ahead of him tonight though as he took on Paul London, who's one of the top up-and-coming superstars in wrestling. Angle started out by bringing London to the mat with a couple of amateur style takedowns, showing that he clearly had the mat advantage. After a couple of takeovers, Angle applied an armbar on London when the crowd started to stir. Out of nowhere, World Heavyweight champion CHRIS BENOIT was in the ring, nailing Eric Angle with a kick to the face, causing an immediate disqualification!
Eric Angle defeated Paul London by disqualification in 0:00:43.
Rating: *
The crowd exploded into cheers as a furious Benoit started pounding on Angle with a flurry of right hands. Paul London tried to calm Benoit down, but he received a forearm to he face for his troubles, causing him to roll to the floor. Benoit picked Angle up and nailed him with a huge German suplex, before going to the floor and grabbing a chair. Angle was stumbling to his feet, only to be caught square between the eyes by a vicious chair shot from the Rabid Wolverine. Blood starting pouring from Eric Angle's face as Benoit demanded that William Buck hand his a microphone, which Buck wisely obliged. Benoit then locked Eric Angle in the Sharpshooter while holding the mic in his hand.

[Chris Benoit pulls back on the Sharpshooter, causing Eric Angle to scream in pain. Benoit has a crazed look on his face as he yells into the microphone.]
CB: KURT ANGLE! Get your ass down here now or I break his fu--*BLEEP* back!
[Boston bursts into a huge pop, loving Benoit's intensity.]
CB: With God as my witness, Kurt, I will break your brother in half!
[Benoit rears back even harder, as Eric Angle cries out in absolute pain. Finally, Kurt Angle comes out, microphone in hand.]
KA: Let him go, you son of a bitch!
CB: No!
[Benoit pulls back further still.]
CB: I'll let him go in exchange for you. You think what I'm doing to him is bad? Get your ass down here and I'll show you bad! You can save him, Kurt! [Wrenches the hold in] You and me tonight, no rules! Nobody touches my wife, nobody touches my family! NOBODY!
KA: Fine! Okay, okay! You want a fight tonight, you got it. Just let him go!
[The crowd is surprised to see Kurt Angle show any compassion, even if it is his brother. Benoit keeps pulling back on the hold, however.]
KA: Let him go, you son of a bitch! I said I'd fight you! Let him go!
[Benoit refuses. Just then, GCW President Ryan Niemiller comes out from the back, a microphone in hand.]
RN: Chris, let him go! Let him go right now or I will strip you of the World Heavyweight Title!
[Begrudgingly, Benoit lets go of the hold. GCW medical staff members pull Eric Angle out of the ring to check on him. The crowd boos Niemiller for breaking this up.]
RN: This is not how we do business around here, Chris. You know that. People don't seem to believe me when I say I'm not going to put up with crap like this! I am the President here, not you, not Kurt Angle, not anybody! You can't just run down here and break up a match and think you're going to get what you want! So tonight, Chris, you will not be fighting Kurt Angle in any way, shape, or form!
[The crowd boos this loudly. Chris Benoit is absolutely livid.]
RN: I know that you're upset, Chris, but you are too unstable to be competing tonight. You will have your match with Kurt Angle at Super Cade in the main event this Sunday. Benoit, you're not in the state of mind to be here. I'm going to have to ask you to leave the building. If you do not leave on your own accord, I'm afraid I will have to have the police escort you out.
[The crowd is all over Niemiller now. They may not agree with it, but Niemiller was forced to lay down the law, and you have to respect that he did.]
KA: Excellent decision, Mr. President! It's true, it's...
RN: Don't push your luck, Kurt. You're not exactly in my good graces either. Not go back to your locker room... now.
[Angle gives Niemiller a dumbfounded stare before reluctantly heading to the back.]
RN: Chris, I hope you make the right decision. Go home, clear your head, and get ready for Super Cade.
[Niemiller heads to the back while a seriously pissed off World Heavyweight champion stands in the ring. Benoit throws the microphone down on the mat as hard as he can, breaking it with a loud screeching noise. Cut to commercial.]

Something had to give in this match as two men who are still undefeated in Global Championship Wrestling went one-on-one as "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown took on Steve "Who's Your Daddy?" Bradley of the Sensationals. Monty Brown had the power advantage in this one, and he showed it off early on, throwing Bradley to the mat after two consecutive lockups. Bradley went in for another lockup, but this time he caught Brown with a knee to the midsection. From here, the match went back and forth, both men still riding the wave of momentum they've built up in recent weeks.
Steve Bradley needed a win tonight as he makes his pay-per-view debut at Super Cade against Lance Storm. Kurt Angle pulled a lot of strings to bring Bradley to GCW, so Bradley, despite his arrogant nature, is working very hard and wrestling quite impressively. Truth is, he outsmarted Monty Brown tonight. Bradley lured Brown into a false sense of security, prompting the Alpha Male to go for the Pounce too early in the contest. The athletic Bradley leap frogged over Brown, and when Brown turned back around, he was caught and dropped with the Smashmouth.
Steve Bradley pinned Monty Brown with the Smashmouth in 0:05:23.
Rating: *** 1/2
This was a huge victory for Bradley, garnering him a lot of momentum going into his huge match with Lance Storm at Super Cade. It will also be interesting to see how Monty Brown bounces back from his first setback. With his ability, I wouldn't be surprised to see him come back even stronger.

[An irate Chris Benoit has his bag slung over his shoulder, carrying the World Heavyweight Title in his other hand. He is walking through the parking lot to his car having been told to go home by GCW President Ryan Niemiller. Benoit gets to his car and begins to open the trunk when he is blindsided from behind by Kurt Angle. Angle and Benoit start to brawl around, but the element of surprise quickly gives Angle the advantage as he slams Benoit's head on the trunk of the car.]
KA: Nobody messes with my brother, you son of a bitch!
[Angle slams Benoit's head repeatedly on the trunk of the car before pulling him around to the side, where he blasts him with a hard right hand.]
KA: You're not so tough now, are ya, champ?
[Angle grabs the World Heavyweight Title that Benoit had dropped, rears back, and clocks the Rabid Wolverine in the head with it. He then grabs Benoit bag and using the strap, begins to mercilessly choke the World champion with it.]
KA: Let me help you to your car, Benoit!
[Angle picks Benoit up by the head and slaps him a couple time. Angle takes Benoit's head and busts in right through the driver's side door window, letting out a huge grunt as he does so. The arena crowd can be heard giving a collective gasp. Benoit is motionless as half his body lies in the car. Angle stares at Benoit with an absolute crazed look on his face as EMTs rush to the aid of Benoit. Also there is GCW President Ryan Niemiller, who caught wind of what was happening.]
RN: ANGLE! Get in my office, NOW!
[Angle stares at Niemiller before leaving the scene. Niemiller goes over and checks on Benoit as we cut to commercial.]

As we were scrambling backstage to get more information on the condition of Chris Benoit, the in-ring action continued as Rey Mysterio Jr. defended his Crusierweight Title against "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. Daniels got this title match as a result of his great showing last week against Booker T. Daniels was once again completely decked out like a priest, including that large 12 inch metal cross. He certainly has turned up the freak dial the past couple of weeks, but he is very formidable none the less. Daniels had Mysterio grounded early with his intensive mat arsenal, but Mysterio soon showed his diversity, bringing Daniels down with a variety of armdrags from all different angles. Mysterio was on the outside of the ring apron about to springboard onto Daniels, when out from nowhere, TEDDY HART pulled him by the legs, causing Mysterio's face to smash the apron! Hart threw Mysterio head first into the ringsteps next as referee JD Sanders was calling for the bell.
Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated Christopher Daniels by disqualification in 0:02:11.
Rating: *
(Rey Mysterio Jr. retained the GCW Cruiserweight Title.)
Teddy Hart is making a habit out of attacking people from behind, isn't he? Hart wanted to soften Mysterio up before their match at Super Cade, and soften he did. Hart tossed Mysterio back in the ring before going up top and coming down on the Cruiserweight champion with the Open Hart Surgery. The crowd was booing Hart mercilessly as he prepared for his next move, when Christopher Daniels spun him around. Hart looked at him dumbfounded as Daniels made the symbol of the cross. At this point, Daffney snuck up behind Hart and nailed him with a low blow. Daniels pounced on Hart, hitting him with the Last Rites. Daniels obviously did not take too kindly to Teddy Hart costing him his shot at the Cruiserweight Title. Daniels left the ring after "blessing" both Teddy Hart and Rey Mysterio Jr. This thing just keeps getting stranger and stranger.

[We see Kurt Angle standing in the office of GCW President Ryan Niemiller. Angle has a concerned look on his face and both his hands behind his back. When the door of the office swings open, the worried look of Kurt Angle immediately turns to a big smile. Niemiller, however is the complete opposite, looking about as angry as they come.]
KA: Now, Mr. Niemiller, before you say anything, I just want you to know that I think you are doing an excellent job as president of Global Championship Wrestling. I mean, nobody could be better for this job. As a matter of fact, you're the best president this company has ever had! It's true, it's true!
RN: Save it, Kurt. First of all, I'm the only president this company has had, and secondly...
KA: I brought you an apple!
[Angle pulls out an apple from behind his back and hands it to Niemiller. The crowd can be heard laughing.]
RN: Where'd you get this apple, Kurt?
KA: I got it from the guy at catering.
RN: Did you have to throw him through a car window to get it!?
[Niemiller throws the apple against the wall, splattering it everywhere.]
RN: This isn't a joke, Kurt. I might not have a main event for the biggest pay-per-view of the year now because of you. You had better hope that Chris Benoit isn't seriously injured, because if he is, not only will you not be getting a World Heavyweight Title shot at Super Cade, but you won't get a World Heavyweight Title shot as long as I am President of Global Championship Wrestling!
[Huge crowd pop as Angle starts to protest.]
KA: You can't do that, Niemiller!
RN: That's Mr. Niemiller, and yes, I can because I just did! And Kurt, I know originally the plan was to give both you and Chris Benoit the night off. Well, now, obviously Benoit has the night off thanks to you, but I'm now booking you in a match, Kurt. Tonight it will be Kurt Angle taking on Eddie Guerrero!
[Huge crowd pop again.]
KA: This is outrageous!
RN: Oh, you haven't even heard the best part yet. If Chris Jericho, or any member of the Sensationals for that matter, even show their face near the ring during the match, all four of you will be FIRED!
KA: WHAT!? Mr. Niemiller, but...
RN: No but's, Kurt. You better go... you have a match to prepare for.
[Angle storms out of Niemiller's office as we cut back to the ring.]

AJ Styles, the first and thus far only Television champion GCW has had, had another test tonight as he defended his gold against Billy Kidman. Kidman has wrestled in mostly tag team matches with Paul London in GCW rings, but he is an accomplished singles star, being a multiple time crusierweight champion in other wrestling organizations. And Kidman certainly came ready to fight tonight. Billy Kidman is one of the view wrestlers who can match up very evenly with AJ Styles' combination of speed, agility, and mat wrestling ability. These two tore into each other like they were wrestling the main event at Super Cade. It was great to see two of the future megastars of this business put in an effort like this on Monday Night Explosion.
Kidman thought that he had the title won when he nailed Styles with the BK Bomb, but Styles barely got his shoulder up in time. Kidman couldn't believe it as he argued with referee Antonio Santangelo, which turned out to be Kidman's downfall. Kidman brought Styles up to his feet, but out of nowhere, Styles nailed him with a jumping enziguiri. Kidman was knocked loopy enough for Styles to hit the Styles Clash, and just like that, Styles reign as Television champion continued.
AJ Styles pinned Billy Kidman with the Styles Clash in 0:09:03.
Rating: *** 1/2
(AJ Styles retained the GCW Television Title.)
AJ Styles is on a huge role, but will he be able to overcome the veteran Goldust at Super Cade? We'll find out this Sunday on pay-per-view!
Booker T wanted to test himself against a big powerful wrestler this week as he goes into Super Cade to fight the biggest, most powerful wrestler in Global Championship Wrestling, Brock Lesnar. Booker T was in for a huge test as he took on the red hot Sean O'Haire. O'Haire has a lot to prove in this business, and a victory over a former World Heavyweight champion (in other organizations) would definitely boost his stock. O'Haire threw Booker T around in the early stages of this match, exerting his will on the man from Houston, Texas. But Booker T is too focused right now to be detoured, fueled by his anger toward Brock Lesnar.
After a back and forth contest, Booker T grabbed the advantage by catching O'Haire with a spinebuster slam. Booker T spun up with the Spinaroonie which got the crowd pumped, but just then, Booker caught out of the corner of his eye, Brock Lesnar, standing at ringside. Lesnar was taunting Booker, challenging him to come out on the floor and fight him. Booker made a lunge at Lesnar, but Lesnar backed away and laughed. When Booker finally turned around, he walked right into the grasp of Sean O'Haire and was planted with the Prophecy.
Sean O'Haire pinned Booker T with the Prophecy in 0:06:01.
Rating: ** 3/4
Sean O'Haire scored a huge win, but he had Brock Lesnar to thank for it. Lesnar jumped into the ring and the beating was on. Lesnar picked Booker T up, whipped him into the ropes, and dropped him hard with a shoulderblock. Lesnar brought Booker to his feet again, picked him up on his shoulder and drove him hard into the turnbuckle. Lesnar drove his shoulder hard into Booker's ribs, before pulling him out of the corner and leveling him with a clothesline. Lesnar grabbed Booker and in a flash, had him up for the F-5. Lesnar yelled at the crowd before twirling Booker T around and slamming him into the canvas. Lesnar is an absolute monster. Booker T had better bring his A-game to Super Cade or he could end up manhandled again like he was tonight.

[We are backstage with Cruiserweight champion Rey Mysterio Jr. and The Hurricane, the later of whom is getting ready for his matchup with Teddy Hart in just a few minutes.]
RMJr: Hey Hurricane. I wanted to wish you good luck in your match with Teddy Hart.
H: Thanks, Citizen Mysterio. Even though you are not a superhero, you do these people proud as the Cruiserweight champion!
RMJr: Thanks, man. That means a lot. Oh, and I wanted to tell you before you go out there and kick Teddy Hart's butt. I talked to President Niemiller, and I worked out a deal with him. Because of how you were screwed last week by Hart's attack on you, you weren't in top shape for our match for this Cruiserweight Title. I worked it out with Niemiller, and if I'm still the Cruiserweight champion after Super Cade, which I think that I will be, you, The Hurricane, will be first in line for a title shot.
H: Thank you, Mysterio. And just so you know, if you ever need me, The Hurricane will always have your back.
[The two shake hands.]
H: Because through howling winds and pouring rain, all evil shall fear... The Hurricane!
[The Hurricane "flies" out of the room. Mysterio smiles as we cut to the ring.]

* * * * *
[In the ring already stands Teddy Hart. He has the microphone in his hand and a huge smile painted on his face.]
TH: Well isn't that sweet? Rey Mysterio Jr. and The Hurricane are getting buddy-buddy. How cute. And Mysterio is even going to give The Hurricane a Cruiserweight Title shot after Super Cade. Don't count on it, you green freak! Because Rey Mysterio Jr. won't be the Cruiserweight champion after Super Cade, I will! And being from the greatest wrestling family on the planet, the Harts, I think I am a good enough authority to let you know that you're not even in my league, and not deserving of a Cruiserweight Title shot!
[The crowd tears into Teddy Hart with their boos, that Hart seemingly enjoys.]
TH: Oh, and something else, Hurricane. You've been on this mission, a crusade if you will to find the identity of the person who attacked you at Mayhem, taking you out of the Cruiserweight Chaos. Well look no further, bitch, it was ME! I did it! It made my inevitable winning of Cruiserweight Chaos all that much easier, and I didn't have to carry your ass anymore! I am the future of Cruiserweight wrestling, Hurricane, and don't you, or Rey Mysterio, or even you, Christopher Daniels... don't think I forgot about what you did earlier tonight; you'll get yours... don't any of you forget it!
[Just then, we hear, "STAND BACK! THERE'S A HURRICANE COMING THROUGH!" which brings the fans to their feet. The Hurricane sprints down to the ring and tackles Hart, bringing him to the canvas. Jimmy Appleseed sounds the bell, and the match is underway.]
* * * * *
The Hurricane was ready to rip Teddy Hart's head off already after Hart attacked him from behind last week, effectively costing him the Cruiserweight Title. Now with Hart admitting that he was the one who jumped The Hurricane at Mayhem taking him out of the Cruiserweight Chaos match, the Man In Green was a man possessed. The Hurricane didn't let up on Teddy Hart for the first few minutes, hitting him with a series of jumping clotheslines. Hart rolled to the outside to take a breather, but when you're wrestling a superhero, you can never be far enough from the ring, as The Hurricane jumped off the top and caught Hart with a flying crossbody.
After the initial flurry from The Hurricane, this match settled into being a fast-paced, high-action contest. GCW proves week in and week out that they are the future of the wrestling business, and these two are going to be near the forefront. This match was a great mix of mat wrestling, chain wrestling, high flying, and brawling. By the end of this match, the fans were all on their feet, counting along with every nearfall. The Hurricane got an impressive nearfall late by hitting a floating neckbreaker. The Hurricane went for the crossface halo after that, but Teddy Hart spun out of it and caught Our Friendly Neighborhood Hurricane with a boot to the midsection and dropped him with a DDT. Hart went up top and went for the Open Hart Surgery, but The Hurricane jumped to his feet and crotched Hart on the top rope. Hurricane set Hart up for a superplex, but Hart turned it into a crossbody. Hart quickly turned the stunned Hurricane into the Sharpshooter. The Hurricane held on, but the more he fought, the further Teddy Hart pulled back. The Man In Green had no choice but to submit.
Teddy Hart made The Hurricane submit to the Sharpshooter in 0:13:11.
Rating: **** 1/4
An excellent match, and a huge win for Teddy Hart as he goes into Super Cade and his Cruiserweight Title match with Rey Mysterio Jr. With as red hot as Hart is, this may be his time. Regardless, we know we have a potential classic on our hands at Super Cade.
At this point, we were informed that there was a disturbance backstage. Our cameras cut back there in the midst of a brawl.

[When the camera gets backstage, we see Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho exchanging blows in the hallway. Jericho makes a dive at Guerrero, grabbing his waist, but Guerrero locks Jericho in a front facelock. Jericho drives Guerrero's back into the wall as Guerrero clubs down on him with forearms. Jericho gets himself separated only to be caught with a right hand in the jaw. Jericho stumbles backward and when he turns around, Guerrero sprints at him. Jericho ducks and backdrops Guerrero onto a table. Jericho pops Guerrero with some hard right hands in the forehead as Guerrero is sprawled on the table. Jericho searches around and finds a chair. He brings it down, but Guerrero rolls out of the way and Y2J smacks the table, echoing it through the halls. Guerrero kicks Jericho in the stomach, grabs Y2J's head, and slams it into the wall. Jericho counters by poking Guerrero in the eye and kicking him in the gut as well. Jericho puts Latino Heat in a standing headscissors and then power bombs Guerrero through the table! Jericho has a scowl on his face as he looks down at the unconscious Guerrero.]
CJ: You think this is bad, Eddie? You think this hurts? Just wait until the Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rollah has your ass in a steel cage. I guarantee that you will never... EVVVVVVVAH... be the same... again!
[Jericho spits on the fallen Guerrero before he smiles and walks away. The camera gets a closeup of Guerrero as we cut to commercial.]

This match was a preview of two matches at Super Cade in this six-man tag match. Although there wasn't as much at stake in this match as there will be at Super Cade, Shelton Benjamin knew that if his team lost tonight, they could potentially be in a lot of trouble at Super Cade, where if WGTT doesn't win the World Tag Team Titles, Benjamin will be forced to be Shaniqua's slave for 30 days. This was a good match that had a real good flow to it. The World's Greatest Tag Team and the Basham Brothers continue to prove why they're two of the best tag teams in recent memory, and Tommy Dreamer and Rob Van Dam showed that their Hardcore Match at Super Cade is going to be a war. All six men went at it tooth and nail for almost 15 minutes, trying anything they could think of to defeat their opponents. The problem is in a six-man tag match, there are a lot of wrestlers available to make the save.
Eventually, we did have a winner though. The match broke down to Charlie Haas and Danny Basham in the ring. Rob Van Dam and Tommy Dreamer were brawling their way up the aisle, eliminating them from this match. Haas brought Basham down with a takeover suplex when Shaniqua jumped up on the apron. Shelton Benjamin wasn't going to have any of that as he ran around to the other side of the ring and pulled Shaniqua down. Referee Antonio Santangelo tried to get Benjamin back in the corner, which allowed the Bashams to do the double switch. While Haas was trying to get the ref's attention, Doug Basham rolled in and Danny Basham rolled out. Haas, thinking he still had the worn down Danny in the ring, brought Doug Basham to his feet, but Doug caught Haas with the Basham Blaster out of nowhere, knocking Haas loopy and allowing him to steal a win for his team.
The Basham Brothers (Doug Basham and Danny Basham) and Rob Van Dam defeated The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin) and Tommy Dreamer when Doug Basham pinned C. Haas with the Basham Blaster in 0:14:44.
Rating: ***
Shelton Benjamin slid back in the ring but he was too late. Doug Basham jumped out of the ring as the World Tag Team champions celebrated with Shaniqua. If something like this happens at Super Cade, Benjamin is going to have a long 30 days ahead of him.
You have to give credit where credit is due. Lance Storm wrestled Brock Lesnar, and he wrestled him well. Lesnar may be a monster, but he is also a master of mat wrestling. There are few people who can match Lesnar's mat skills, but for much of this match, Storm outwrestled Lesnar. Storm effectively worked over Lesnar's left arm, trying to take away a lot of Lesnar's power offense. A sound strategy, but one that's a whole lot harder to execute than it is to think up. Every time Lesnar would be in a hold, he would power out of it and pound on Lance Storm. Storm persevered, always going back to that arm. In the end, Storm had Lesnar down in a short arm scissors. Lesnar used his power to sit up and lift Storm off the ground. Storm tried to fight it and bring Lesnar back down, but he was stuck. Lesnar positioned Storm onto his shoulders and sent him crashing to the canvas with the F-5, and that was all she wrote. 1-2-3.
Brock Lesnar pinned Lance Storm with the F-5 in 0:08:00.
Rating: ** 3/4
Brock Lesnar continues to chew through the competition, but Lance Storm has nothing to be ashamed of. He took the monster to the limit, but it wasn't meant to be tonight. Perhaps Storm will have better luck this Sunday against Steve Bradley.

[Randy Orton of the Sensationals stands backstage. He has the GCW North American Title slung over his shoulder and that cocky smirk of his on his face.]
RO: It's unfortunate that Shawn Michaels isn't here tonight to wrestle, because it was going to be everybody's last chance to get a good look at him. Because this Sunday at Super Cade, I finish what a casket in 1998 started! Shawn Michaels, you were once great. You were an icon, and you are a legend. But guess what? Randy Orton is a LEGEND KILLER. Shawn Michaels, you need to let go. You need to realize that you're not 21 anymore. You still come out here with your long hair, your chaps, dance around for all the girlies.... it's a JOKE. You call yourself the Heartbreak Kid? I didn't realize a 70-year old man could be called a kid these days! What you need to realize, Shawn, is that you are the past and Randy Orton is the future of this business. I am 24 years old, and look what I've already accomplished. I'm Global Championship Wrestling's North American champion. I'm part of the finest group in professional wrestling, the Sensationals. It's about time you get put out to pasture, Michaels.
[At this point, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels appears and gets face-to-face with Randy Orton as the crowd pops loudly. After a brief staredown, Michaels speaks.]
HBK: Randy Orton... it figures you'd be here running your mouth. Because that's all you seem to do well. You know something, Randy, you're right. I agree with you on some things... SOME things. I'm not as young as I used to be. I'm not as healthy as I used to be. But I'm still the showstopper, the icon, the main event! And I'll be damned if some little PUNK like you is going to take me out! Randy, you need to remember that I've been down this road a thousand times before. I've forgotten more about this business than you may ever know. I'll admit, you are a talented guy, Randy. You have the potential to be a World champion one day. I don't deny that. But right now, all you are is POTENTIAL. The Heartbreak Kid has proved before that he already is the man! This isn't just about taking your title, Randy. At Mayhem, you disrespected me. You cost me my chance at a World Heavyweight Title shot. That, in itself, I can forgive. But now you've disrespected me, and I will NOT allow that!
RO: Face the facts, Shawn! It's not about what you'll allow anymore... it's about what Randy Orton will allow. You used to be great, Shawn, but the truth is, you're JEALOUS of Randy Orton. You don't like me because I am what you can never be again. I'm handsome, I'm talented, and the sky is the limit for me. You're just a washed-up has-been, and the worst part is, Shawn... you don't even know it. It's sad. You're PATHETIC!
[Michaels puts his head down, taking this all in. He then cocks back and catches Orton across the face with a hard slap that causes the crowd to yell, "OOOH!" The force of the blow causes Orton to drop the North American Title to the ground. Orton turns and gets in Michaels' face, ready to tear his head off.]
HBK: Go ahead, Randy. Hit me... HIT ME!
[Orton rears back to slap Michaels, but he stops. HBK simply smiles at Orton.]
HBK: You got a lot to learn, kid. I'll see you Sunday.
[Michaels walks away from Orton as the North American champion fumes. Orton picks up his title and storms off.]

Kurt Angle thought he was going to have the night off, but that was before he threw World Heavyweight champion Chris Benoit threw a car window in the parking lot. GCW President Ryan Niemiller punished him by forcing him to wrestle "Latino Heat" Eddie Guerrero in our main event, with the added stipulation that if any of the Sensationals interfered, all four members would be fired. The Sensationals got around that rule as "Y2J" Chris Jericho jumped Guerrero backstage which resulted in Latino Heat being put through a table! Guerrero came to the ring with his ribs taped up, but he was ready and fired up, taking it right to the former Olympic gold medalist.
Guerrero successfully flustered Angle early on, reversing everything Angle threw at him with an armdrag or hiptoss of some sort. Angle rolled out of the ring and slapped the mat hard as Latino Heat got a nice ovation from the crowd. Angle sprinted back in the ring as Guerrero taunted him, but Guerrero took him down with a drop toehold. Guerrero started working over Angle's left arm with an armbar, but Angle got to his feet and caught Guerrero with a right hand. Angle threw Guerrero into the ropes, but Guerrero ducked the oncoming clothesline. Guerrero came back and was caught by a belly-to-belly suplex. From that point on, the unrelenting Angle went to work on Guerrero's ribs, kicking away at them and putting him in a variety of bodylocks.
Angle methodically wore Guerrero down, doing what he does best - wrestle. Angle hit Guerrero with suplex after suplex after suplex, but he couldn't keep Latino Heat down. Angle got frustrated and went up to the top. He came off with a picture perfect moonsault. The only problem was Eddie Guerrero wasn't there when Angle landed. Guerrero and Angle made it to their feet at the same time. Angle went for a punch, but Guerrero blocked it and caught Angle with a punch of his own. After a flurry of punches, Guerrero whipped Angle into the ropes and popped him under the jaw with a dropkick. Guerrero was jiving and shaking at this point as the packed house in Boston were all on their feet screaming. Angle begged off, but Guerrero hooked him and hit him with a hat trick of rolling snap suplexes. The crowd was on its feet as Guerrero went up top for the Frog Splash. However, Angle sprung to his feet, jumped on the top turnbuckle, and brought Guerrero crashing down to the mat with a top-rope belly-to-belly suplex. Guerrero let out a loud scream as the impact jarred his ribs. The ever opportunistic Angle locked Guerrero in the Ankle Lock. Guerrero screamed as he tried to inch to the ropes, but when Latino Heat was mere inches away, Angle pulled Guerrero back into the center of the ring. Guerrero started to crawl again, but Angle dropped to his back and put Guerrero in a legbar in conjunction with the Ankle Lock. Guerrero held off as long as he could, but he was forced to tap out or face lasting injury.
Kurt Angle made Eddie Guerrero submit to the Ankle Lock in 0:11:24.
Rating: **** 1/4
Kurt Angle proved a lot tonight. He proved that he doesn't need the help of the Sensationals to win a big match, and he definitely has the advantage over Chris Benoit going into Super Cade, as we don't even know what kind of condition Benoit is going to be in. The cameras went off with Kurt Angle standing tall in the ring. Could this be a sign of things to come at Super Cade?
