Our first match on High Voltage let us see the GCW debut of Eric Angle. Eric is the brother of the current number one contender to the World Heavyweight Title Kurt Angle. Eric wrestles a very similar style to his brother, as he too was an accomplished amateur wrestler. Tommy Dreamer may not be the most polished ring technician in the business, but I would say he's one of the toughest, and he knows how to fight. Dreamer fought Angle tonight, beating him up a little, but in the end, Eric Angle would hit an impressive moonsault and make his debut match a successful one.

We had tag team action next as Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper of Triple X took on the somewhat makeshift tag team of Shannon Moore and Shark Boy. Some pretty good teamwork from Moore and Shark Boy as they made this match interesting, but they just didn't have the tag team continuity of Triple X. Plus, Daffney's presence at ringside is enough to distract anybody. Triple X walks away with a victory thanks to a springboard moonsault from Daniels.

Our main event for High Voltage was a good one as the number one contender for the Cruiserweight Title, Teddy Hart, took on the former Cruiserweight champion, Low-Ki. Although these two wrestle a very different style, Low-Ki being more martial arts based while Teddy Hart takes it to the air. A hard-hitting contest that saw Teddy Hart get busted open with a hard stiff kick from Low-Ki, but he would fight back and get the victory with the Open Hart Surgery.
