High Voltage kicked off this week with Matt Hardy, fresh with emotion taking on Stevie Richards. Richards came out strongly as he is still looking to impress everyone in GCW, and he looked good tonight. However with the emotion state that Matt Hardy has been put in by his ex-girlfriend and own brother, he's fighting like he has nothing to lose. Despite Stevie's early burst of offense, Hardy plowed through and took the win when he dodged the Stevie Kick and brought him down with the Side Effect.
Matt Hardy defeated Stevie Richards after the Side Effect in 0:05:30.

Shark Boy may be wanting to cheer Lance Storm up, but he may need some cheering up of his own after his match with Eric Angle. Angle was not in the mood to mess around in this one, jumping Sharky before the bell rang and never letting up, suplexing the boy from the sea all over the ring before driving the air out of his lungs with a tremendous belly-to-belly suplex for the three.
Eric Angle pinned Shark Boy after a belly-to-belly suplex in 0:03:56.

CM Punk had a required Television Title defense against Petey Williams, and this turned out to be a more competitive match than anyone, including Punk, thought. Petey is putting himself out in the singles division now, and he had this huge opportunity to get his singles career going the right way by taking the Television Title. Petey is also trying to change his reputation around, offering Lance Storm an apology on Explosion and tonight slapping hands with the fans on the way to the ring. He wants to reinvent himself, and you have to respect that. He took Punk to the limit, almost hitting his devastating Canadian Destroyer flip piledriver on several occasions, but Punk, either through distraction of Daffney or his own merit, was able to get out each time. Petey went to the top rope late looking to hit a big move, but Daffney distracted him from the floor. This lapse in concentration allowed Punk to crotch Petey on the turnbuckle, and the Pepsi Plunge followed.
CM Punk pinned Petey Williams with the Pepsi Plunge in 0:08:23.

Punk keeps his Television Title, and at Super Cade, he has a chance to become a double champion when he challenges Monty Brown for the North American Title.
The actual match in our main event pitting Paul London against Kid Kash was only a minute and 25 second affair. Not exactly what you would call a classic. It was the brawl that took place before the opening bell that made this one interesting. Kid Kash was introduced first, but when he was halfway down the aisle, London ran down and jumped him from behind, tossing him into the guardrail. The fight continued on from there for several minutes, both wrestlers taking advantage of whatever they could find lying around the ringside area. The turning point of this brawl happened when Kash got London in a headlock and was looking to drive him head first into the ring post, but London countered by lifting him up like a back suplex and driving Kash crotch first into the post! The crowd popped huge at this before London tossed Kash back in the ring and the match officially started. London continued on the offensive and it didn't take long for him to plant the Notorious K.I.D. with a swinging facebuster and get the win.
Paul London pinned Kid Kash after a swinging facebuster in 0:01:25.
