We are a mere one hour away from the huge pay-per-view spectacular that will be Mayhem! Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has been buzzing all week as preparations have been made to bring the fans of Global Championship Wrestling a fantastic night of wrestling. But first, we had the pre-pay-per-view edition of High Voltage! We had two matches scheduled, so let's get right to it!
Tommy Dreamer was looking to recover after a very angry Brock Lesnar took out some aggressions on him last week on Explosion, while Sean O'Haire is just looking to get out of the blocks in any way he can think of. O'Haire, despite his losing streak, has kept his aggression up, not slowing down a bit. He seems to be getting a bit desperate to pick up his first victory, and it's showing. Late in the match after referee JD Sanders was distracted, O'Haire pulled a pair of brass knuckles out of his trunks. O'Haire went to hit Dreamer, but the Innovator of Violence ducked and booted O'Haire in the midsection. O'Haire dropped the knux, and as Sanders checked on O'Haire, Dreamer picked them up and put them on his hand. Dreamer planted O'Haire with a hard right hand that dropped him to canvas like a ton of bricks. Three seconds later, and O'Haire's winless streak continued.
Tommy Dreamer pinned Sean O'Haire after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:06:34.
Rating: ** 1/4
Not the most polished victory by Tommy Dreamer, but I suppose you have to fight fire with fire.

[After we return from commercial break, a camera shot of the ring is interrupted as we hear, "WHO'S YOUR DADDY!?" come out over the sound system. The crowd gives a sort of confused murmur as they're not exactly sure whose music this is. The murmur becomes slightly louder but not by much as a 6'2", 235-pound man comes out from the back. This unidentified man is wearing a pair of dark sunglasses and has his hair in a ponytail. He is wearing an amateur wrestling singlet to go along with a smug smile. As this man jumps over the top rope in the ring, he plays to the crowd by putting his hands up in the air and smiling this smug smile to the crowd; the crowd is not impressed. The mystery man grabs the microphone from William Buck before promptly ushering him out of the ring, with little tact mind you.]
???: All of you fat, ugly, unemployed Philaldelphia idiots need to shut your mouths, pay close attention, and feast your eyes on what stands before you in the ring!
[The crowd boos the mystery man a little after his attempt at cheap heat.]
???: I want you all to be on your best behavior and pay very close attention, because I'm about to introduce myself, and it's a name you're going to want to remember as you'll be hearing a lot of it! I am the man's threat and the woman's pet! I am the baddest mofo on the show, Steve "Who's Your Daddy?" Bradley!
[Steve Bradley nods his head and looks out to the crowd as they boo him a little, but nothing special.]
SB: Now I know you're all dying to know why a man of my obvious greatness would lower himself by coming to a place like Philadelphia, a filthy, dirty, unbelievably disgusting hell hole. Well I'm going to tell you. I am one of the most underrated talents in professional wrestling of the last 25 years. I have been this close [uses his fingers to indicate] to breaking through for the past 6 years, but at the last second, it's been pulled out from under me. Well not any more. Nobody's going to stop me now, because I am here in Global Championship Wrestling! President Niemiller knew that he had himself a proverbial gold mine when he saw me, and mark my words when I tell you all that you're looking at the future of this business!
[The crowd is starting to get on Bradley a little now, as he seems like a total egotistical prick.]
SB: But I still haven't answered why I'm in Philaldelphia. Why I would possibly even consider fighting my way through the drove of uneducated bums to make it to the arena tonight. Because I know that if you want to make it in wrestling, you have to make an impact. And at Mayhem tonight, the Baddest Mofo on the Show is going to make an impact!
[Bradley takes off his sunglasses and looks into the camera.]
SB: And that's... a guarantee.
[The crowd is on Bradley now as he puts his glasses back on and struts around the ring. Cut to commercial.]

As the countdown to Mayhem drew ever closer, we had one more match as Perry Saturn took on the ever bizarre Goldust. Not a bad contest, but you could tell that neither of these two was giving it their all. Goldust's could be attributed to recovering from the beating he took from Brock Lesnar last week. Saturn was one step behind Goldust for most of this match, not getting into any kind of flow whatsoever. Saturn would go for a Death Valley Driver late, but the Golden One countered and dropped Saturn with a DDT. A few moments later, Goldust hit the Curtain Call and picked himself up a good victory.
Goldust pinned Perry Saturn after the Curtain Call in 0:09:09.
