What to do at a Hot Topic:
1. Flirt with the cashier.
2. Put on a band shirt, then go over to a poster with the same band on it and say "look! we match!"
3. Dance to the music.4. Sing to the music.
5. Dance and sing like an idiot to the music.6. Ask the cashier if they have a jukebox, so you can change the music.
7. Go in the dressing room and whenever you see someone walk towards the dressing room, yell "oh no! help!!! i'm trapped! help! oh no!" and then open the door and say "yay! you rescued me!!!"8. Try on clothes in the dressing room, then walk out of it with the clothes still on and go up to someone and say "hey, I'm kurt cobain. I'm back from the dead."
9. Have a long, deep conversation with the cashier.10. If there are toys in your Hot Topic (like my little ponies, carebears, etc.) play with them like action figures, and do the voices really loudly.
11. Usually there is a big jar full of pins. if there are in your Hot Topic, start pulling them out and pinning them on your clothes. if asked what you are doing, say "I'm trying them on for size."12. When you go up to pay for your stuff, ask "...and can I get a big {insert band name here} mac with {insert another band name here} fries?"
13. If you're a frequent shopper there and you have bags there from the past, bring them in and ask them if they recycle them. And if so, if they will pay you money for them.
14. Ask the cashier or someone that works there if they can give you a free makeover.
15. Try on underwear over your clothes (and if there is a mirror someplace in your Hot Topic, make poses in front of it. But this will work without one, as well.) If asked what you are doing, start going dramatic and pretending to cry, and say in a shaky voice "I just wanted to be pretty... Is there something wrong with that!?"16. Ask for something on a very high shelf. Then look at it and say "oh... It's more uglier than I thought." And have them put it back.
17. Have perfume spray fights with the tester perfumes.18. If your with friends, start a hand chain and ask someone that works there to join it.
19. Ask the opinion of a Hot Topic worker if you would make a good Hot Topic model, then start doing random poses and saying stuff like "ooh yeah!"20. Start randomly kissing items, smelling them, and looking like your dreaming when you do so. If asked what you're doing, tell them that you get turned on by doing these things and say that they should try it, too.
