Dissociative Identity Disorder is a common dissociative disorder, formally known as Multiple Personality Disorder. It comes from early childhood abuse of any form. What happens in DID is the person's mind creates people in their head called 'alters.' The 'alters' are actually good because they help the person get through life, but they're also bad because they can take over the person's body and can make the person harm themselves or others. Most people don't know they have DID until they're diagnosed it later in life. Some of the symptoms are depression and heavy mood swings. There is a cure for it, but the cure is 10 to 20 years of therapy. That's a long time!! I don't have DID, but my cousin April does. Please help stop DID!!! (Offered in 2 styles.)
