HAPPY--HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!
It was our party! Yes, the Red Hat Society is celebrating it's 10th birthday this year and the Crimson Glorys are celebrating their 7th year! As the song goes "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to, cry if I want to...you'd cry too if it happened to you", I think it should be "It's my party and I'll LAUGH if I want to, LAUGH if I want to, you'd LAUGH too if it happened to you!!" I decided to look up the word 'laugh' in the dictionary and it says...a time of great fun and enjoyment, or something that gives fun and enjoyment.
Boy, does that describe us or what?? Anyone, who attends out luncheons will have to agree with that statement!!! And did we ever have 'some great laughs' at our party, there were singers, skits and story tellers, a slide show which brought back wonderful fun memories and times when some of our departed sisters were with us having a great time and sharing there beautiful lives with us.
