Mike's Saloon July 2009
The day was warm and muggy--the horses (ah cars) were tied up (er pulled up) to the hitching posts and the lot was full!! Oh yes, there were many, many cowgirls in thier 'red' cowgirl hats, with boots (some were even "red" and sparkling!!) Only a Red Hatter would have 'red sparkly boots'--some had 'purple' guns--others had their stick ponys. Of course we had "Miss Kitty" in full dress to greet us (also known as our Queen Mother Renee). The food was great--the service was exceptional (especially due to the young men who were serving us!!) Now that is always a good thing. That will perk up any lady of any age! We celebrated our 2 birthday ladies, with our "kazoo's"!! AND we were led in cowboy songs by our own Music Mama!! ....."Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam...."
Next month we will be going to Famous Dave's for lunch! Hope to see all of you there............... |
