Valentine�s celebration at Bob Roe�s Point After

What a lovely day for a gathering of the Red Hat Ladies!! As I was getting ready I was so excited to see the amazing temperatures for our February gathering. And I loved the fact that I didn't have to pull out my heavy winter coat!! A shining 'sun' can do wonders!!!
As we entered Bob Roe's in our finest wares, I noticed many customers taking a 'notice' to us, yes ladies we still turn heads. We paraded through in our Red Hats, boas, finest dresses, BLING and that special "glow" on every Red Hatters face--we just lit up the room. Between the the sun beams reflecting off our BLING and our Red Hat "glow" there wasn't a dark corner in that place!
We were greeted by our favorite Red Hat registrars [Doris and Marcie] checking us in and making sure we knew where our next luncheon would be! They are amazing and always there for us. Be sure and give them the Glorys 'thanks' the next time you check in!!!! We were even given a 'half of heart' to which we had to find the other half of later so we didn't go home with a broken heart!! Soon the tables started to fill up and we were designated a 'special' waiter who came around to each of us with the same message "Coffee, tea, or ...................................pop??", I know, I know....it would have really made a good story, if I had said ME, but......................... ((smile))
The Secret Sister gifts (and there were plenty of them) were handed out and there were many "oohs and aahs" at such fun and lovely gifts! After we gave thanks to the Lord for his many blessings we had a very nice luncheon of salad, pizza, broasted chicken & potatoes etc., we than as always had fun listening to some light hearted stories, poems and music including of course the Kazooed retra of "Happy Birthday" to our special birthday ladies!
