BREAKFAST AT IHOP April 2009
I hop, you hop, we all hopped in our pajamas, nightgowns and robes over to the International House of Pancakes on a bright spring morning for breakfast! And what fun we had!!! We jumped out of bed..fluffed our hair�put on a little makeup, grabbed a boa, a Red Hat pin or maybe some other Red Hat paraphernalia (so those who didn�t know�would realize who we were!!) We had a breakfast of our choice, and as you can see they were wonderful!! After breakfast we sang to our birthday ladies, then Music Mama led us in two spring songs �April Showers� and �Easter Parade�. Our Queen Mother danced around the room with her purple umbrella to the song April Showers�. Some of our ladies told one liner bunny jokes, which gave us all a good laugh. We then had a contest, and asked the manager of IHOP to choose the most unique hat! And he did�������Dragon Hat��thanks to Jane M. for having such a great imagination!!! It was so fun..there were a group of men who asked to be seated in our section!!! And I wonder why?? Maybe to check out all of those lovely Red Hat Ladies in their jammies����.. We should start our day this way every day!!!
Next month we will be going to Wesley UMC for their famous salad luncheon!! We look forward to seeing you there!! |
