| Washington State University created a dance team in the Spring of 2003 under the direction of Spirit Coordinator Amanda Hoppert and Dance Coach Jenne Kissell . After attending the 2003 UDA College Camp, the team was awarded the honor of being titled Most Collegiate Team. From that point on the, WSU CRIMSON GIRLS have been a tremendous success. |

| The team consists of 12-16 experienced dancers with various dance backgrounds ranging from high school drill teams to trained studio dancers. They can be seen performing at Cougar Football, Volleyball, and Men's and Women's Basketball Games. The Crimson Girls also make several appearances throughout the community and at alumni functions. Their routines include Jazz, Hip Hop, and Pom (as they often perform with the WSU Marching Band). The CRIMSON GIRLS most current ambition is to attend the Collegiate National Dance Championships. The Washington State dance team leads the PAC 10 and are eager to prove their talent to the nation. |
