THE CRIMSON GIRLS

        Washington State University created a

dance team in the Spring of 2003 under the

direction of Spirit Coordinator Amanda

Hoppert and Dance Coach Jenne Kissell .

After attending the 2003 UDA College

Camp, the team was awarded the honor of

being titled Most Collegiate Team.  From

that point on the, WSU
CRIMSON GIRLS

have been a tremendous success.
The  team consists of 12-16 experienced dancers with various dance backgrounds ranging from

high school drill teams to trained studio dancers.  They can be seen performing at Cougar Football,

Volleyball, and Men's and Women's Basketball Games.  The Crimson Girls also make several

appearances throughout the community and at alumni functions.  Their routines include Jazz, Hip

Hop, and Pom (as they often perform with the WSU Marching Band).  The
CRIMSON GIRLS most

current ambition is to attend  the Collegiate National Dance Championships.  The Washington

State dance team leads the PAC 10 and are eager to prove their talent to the nation.
