I'm up for suggestions. "Dealing with it and letting people play what they want to play" is not a valid suggestion. I'm not saying people shouldn't be able to play what they want, but that they should label their rooms accordingly. That's my solution, in fact. Everyone who reads this should henceforth label their rooms as being in a particular era. Link this site in your profiles or on your tavern pages so new people can learn and understand. I know I've been sounding very, very bitter and mean over this, but it's just because it prevents me from roleplaying the way I want to. My suggestion doesn't do this to other people. Hell, people can play their non-sensical realm mixing if they want; just mark their rooms for it. I'm not going to support it, though, because that sort of situation lacks the substance to support by gracing it with a page. |
