2.Via Kiev Flights by Ukraine International Airlines
All International flights arrive at the airport Borispol which located about 30 km from downtown. In Summer time there are some flights from Borispol to Simferopol (mainly later in the evening), but most domestic flights leave from another airport called Zhulhany which is in another (opposite) part of the city so you have to go there through downtown. The way to get to Zhulhany is to take a taxi.
So if you are travelling via Kiev, it is necessary to prepare your visa to Ukraine before your flight.

Types of accommodation in train:
Platskartny/platskart ("rolling dorm"): a place in a car with 54 beds, no separation between them. Exists only in train #28. Avoid it if you can. Kupeyny/kupe: a place in a compartment with 4 comfortable beds. The best choice when you compare price and quality. SV/spalny vahon: a place in a compartment with 2 comfortable beds.

These fares are only valid if you buy the ticket at a railway station when you come to Ukraine. It will cost 2-5 times more if you buy it in advance at a travel agency.
