Cowboy was almost starved at one time and then kept in a 10x10 stall inside for the next year. We had seen him many time when we went to the horse auction. Because we're kind of partial to "black and white" we decided that he would fit right in.

Cowboy came home at the end of May this year. Six days later he was off to school. My trainer said he didn't even know how to lope. The most she could get out of him was a jog. He didn't know how to run and play in the pasture either. She sorted him all out and he came home the middle of October.

He was home for about 1 1/2 weeks and then I took him to the fair. He did very well there but after the 4th day he started to stress from being in a stall again so I brought him home. He's a happy camper now. The only time he's in a stall is at feeding time. I enjoy watching him and Peanut play. They can really get goin', if ya know what I mean.

All of the above pictures were taken today. 11/23/03

Now we're on to the dogs
