| AVIATION ADVENTURES | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Just north of Adelaide there is a beautiful region called the Barrossa Valley. It is a great wine growing district and that is where Richard (BIL) Chris (SIL) and Daisy, Peter's cousin live. Also every so often they host a rural Airshow. Here are Peter and Daisy at the Airshow earlier this year. People in the back ground are holding glasses of (what else) wine. A very nice red by the looks of it! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Aviation mania is not just confined to my DH John. I suffer from it too but I wasn't there that day due to other committments. However you can see that I feel it does have a genetic component. Here is the characteristic pose of the enthusiast... hands in pockets looking skyward for the next piece of improbable flying machine to go past. From left to right is DH, his Step Brother John and his Brother Richard. All enthusiasts. I think John's brother John caught it in his youth from the other lads. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The following week it was another trek up to the Barrossa to go flying in a Tiger Moth. Again I was unable to be there due to committments but DH and DS fell on the opportunity with relish. Here is DH kitted up in front of the Tiger Moth looking very Biggles-like. |

| After going for a bit of a flight, barrel roll, loop the loop and other amazing stunt type manouvres.... here is DH still alive and breathing coming into land at the airfield. Don't think you would get me up in one of those things.... but then again.... | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| However for DH although the day was terriffic fun DS had the thrill of his life. Here is DS and Daisy and John together. you can just See DS... he is sitting in the tiger moth... looking out over the side. He still hasn't stopped talking about it and I think he is somewhat peeved that he didnt' get a flight too. Unfortunately the picture is not the best quality. BIL Richard also went for a flight and yes they are all still talking about it. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
