I watched as the signs of spring breaking through the ground,
I thought of the sweet savor, that the sprng flowers found.
If only life could be like this,
This complicated life would then become bliss.

I was intrigued by the fashion of nature's strong hand,
How everything listened to nature's command.
If only life could be like this,
This complicated life would then become bliss.

The breeze was blowing, the smell of spring in the air,
The blue jays and robins were singing in pairs.
If only life could be like this,
This complicated life would then become bliss.

I thought of the problems that complicated my life,
Remembering the heartache, loneliness and strife.
Now I know life is not like this,
This complicated life will never become bliss.
