"REGARDS TO MOTHER"

Thank you dear mother for the life that you gave,
To ever love me in that motherly way.
The times you believed without a doubt,
For me to have everything you've done without.

The nights that you tucked me all safe in my bed,
Even the times you couldn't raise your head.
The times that you worried when I was away,
The times of my trouble, you took time to pray.

You taught me to be honest, to never tell a lie,
You gave me more love than I could ever buy.
You gave me of life what I needed to succeed,
You gave me advice when I was in need.

You gave me the strength when I was so weak,
The nights you have pondered and gone without sleep.
The times that your feeble hands have worked,
To make life so easy for me.

Thank you dear mother I owe you my life,
I will always remember till the day that I die.
I will go on without you and love you until,
For in me is the love, you have instilled.

This poem was especially written and dedicated to my mother, whom is no longer with me. My Mother, my friend. Friends can come and go but there will never be another Mother. "Mom I miss you very much."
