After our experience from reviewing sites and learning from those or other sites that we just serfed in,we are happy to present you some tips to win awards.
Some sites are unique,some other not.Take a pen and check what you liked and don't like and use what you liked in your site and avoid what you didn't like.
Don't use to many banners on your site.Banners 99%make the viewers want to leave and be sure that the judges will do the same.
Don't use counters in your site.Counters show your traffic and if its not big that will work against you.
Make them feel that they can't be lost.Navigation is very important for a good site.You can put your pages names at the left or top side of every page.
Check your images.Judges will not like X on your pages.
Use hand html.The evaluators would check that and they will see that you have the knowledge.Trust us they will look your site more respectful.
Make it original.Most of the evaluators will give a BRAVO because they saw something yours completely yours.If something isn't yours at least pay credits where due.
View your site in both browsers.Some sites are excellent on I.E but if you see them on netscape are oh my god terrible.Tell a friend who use another browser than yours to check your site.
Don't use too many heavy graphics especially when it's not necessary.It will cost you points on the loading section.
The copyright sign is a must.
Create a pretty award.Try to use paint shop or corel to make an amazing award image.This will also increase your traffic on the applications.
Last but not least,make the theme of your site covered from any option.F.E if you want to write about a country include places-telephones-culture-religion etc.... and any information that will make your theme more complete.
