Clitheroe Royal Grammar School Swing Band was formed in May 2001. The players quickly learnt the style of the repertoire and have reached a remarkably high standard of performance. Playing numbers from the 1930’s to the present day, the enthusiasm and enjoyment of the band members is all too evident in their weekly rehearsals, regular performances and on their CD recording.
The Swing Band has played for many occasions in the past years and is always keen to play at events both at the school and in the local community. For information on how to arrange performances outside the school, please click here to visit the contact page.
