| The second effort, or should I say masterpiece, given to us by the gentlemen of Tool. It was released in 1992. This album is definitely the most industrial sounding off all Tool albums. Lots of heavy bass and pouncing drums by Paul and Danny respectively. Adam's guitar work is still amazing as it was in Opiate. Maynard's lyrics in this album are probably the best of all the albums argueably. Every single track on Undertow is a winner. My favourites are Prison Sex, Sober, Bottom, Swamp Song, and Flood, but every single song on this album is amazing. Disgustipated definately starts Tool's trend of going beyond the norm and into the abnormal. Tool gained it's popularity with this album off the track "Sober" with its NiN-ish video for it. If you ever get a chance, try taking off the CD tray. You'll might be pleasently surprised or disturbed. I didn't notice this for a good 6 months. | ||||||||
