The National D-Day Museum in New Orleans is opening it's new wing dedicated to the Pacific Theater of WW2. There will be a parade on one day, then TWO reenactments the next: the attack on Pearl Harbor (complete with Japanese planes), and the amphibious landing on Tarawa (with genuine landing craft). This is a historically correct event which will have 2 tactical battles, both of which should not be missed. This setting is perfect for a WW2 event. A semi-mountainous area, well wooded, rock faced cliffs, lakes and suspension bridges! This is NOT a public spectator battle and is open to only WW2 reeanactors and vendors. NEW!
