Planned activities not attended
Upcoming Events:
1) Ski Trip to Timberline with troop: The date is now January 30 – February 1, 2009, not the MLK weekend. Most of the Crew is planning on attending this event!!!!!!!
2) Mall Show Friday February 13. Crew is doing rescue throw ropes and showing video.
3) Day Ski trip on February 14th (location TBD). Possible date change
4) Climbing at Lifetime Fitness February 26.
5) Adventuree: March 27-29
6) SCUBA intro is being rescheduled from the original Jan 8 date. We are going to open the event to the troop.
To Be Done:
1) CREW IS TASKED TO COME UP WITH MEETING ACTIVITIES!!!!! Let’s make the meetings fun!!!! The goal is to have business done in 20-30 minutes and then do the activity to make the meeting more fun and informative
2) Ashleigh is going to send information on Wednesday night skiing.
3) Plans are to have a long skiing/boarding trip for the “Super Activity” for winter 2010. Lee is supposed to be printing detail on locations and prices for ski resorts in Colorado.
4) In preparation for a long ski trip, the crew plans to do several day trips. Everyone is tasked to come up with trips that are within a 2 hour drive.
5) The crew has been tasked to find a community service project. Some suggestions have been doing a project at Wesley’s church, helping Mt. Hebron with their cleanup and spring festival, assembling kits/baskets for the needy.
6) Mount Hebron spring festival is scheduled for April 25th. The cleanup usually takes place shortly before the festival, but the date has not been set at this time.
7) Tee shirts are being ordered.
8) Todd talked to Tammy Cinatto about the full first aid/CPR course. We are looking to do the course at two or three crew meetings. We will invite the troop to join us. Todd is working on dates and final costs.
Fundraising:
1) Nothing scheduled at this time. Possibilities include, “Coffee House”, selling hot beverages and snacks in from of Dick’s, Target, Wal-Mart, etc. , car wash, bowling or ice-skating event.
2) Another fundraising possibility is selling subs for Super Bowl.

The Baltimore Ski Warehouse is a great place to get use ski/boarding equipment cheap www.theavsgroup.com Local ski rental tends to be cheaper than renting at resorts
Possible future activities: rappelling, climbing wall, four wheeling (ATV), horseback riding, snowmobiling, kayaking/canoeing, rafting, snow tubing, snow skiing/boarding, water skiing/wake boarding, backpacking, hiking, SCUBA intro (and beyond), shooting, archery.
Elections: The crew decided to keep the same people in leadership positions, but we need to set a date for future elections.
