MINUTES
I. Call to order: 7:20

II. Reports:
       a. Vickie, Matt, and Mike were unable to make the meeting so Kristine will be              president for the meeting

III. Old Business:
       a. Fall camporee:
             1. We need more people to participate in this event, so let us know if you can   make it or not, we may try to see if Bruce Max's crew would be interested in helping out. We have to write everything that we're doing down on paper in case other people do come to help.
             2. Weekend layout:
                   - Friday: everyone gets up to D-A and has a normal nights sleep
                   - Saturday: everyone wakes up early and participates in the activities set up for them, have a lunch break, then have a backpacking trail in the afternoon
             3. Setup of activities: Have stations spread out among D-A(relatively close to one another) and send a different group to each station. Switch stations about every 20 minutes until every group has done each station.
             4. Station categories:
                   - Leave no trace: Mr. Carrick
                   - Bear bags: Angie
                   - Filters: Kristine
                   - Tents: Simon
                   - Food and cooking: Tony
                   - Proper way to pack: Jacque
                   - Winter vs. Summer equipment: Mr. Dietz
                   - Electronic station (anything dealing with the history, research firm, the actual way of using equipment, etc.): Simon
       b. We will discuss the snowfest at a later date

IV. New Business:
       a. There is a competition ran by the city of St. Clair Shores for who can make the best boat out of cardboard. We will be participating in this for next year. We will discuss more at a later date, if you have any ideas or helpful tools make sure to bring them to the next meeting.
       b. We want to plan a weeklong trip possibly during the school year, if you have any ideas or input make sure to share them.
       c. In October we have a chance to work the climbing tower at D-A. It would be the weekend of the. It would give us all experience at climbing with no expense. We will also be looking into this at a later date.

V. Announcements:
       a. We will be having a meeting next week on Tuesday apposed to having another one in two weeks. Please try to make it we have a lot to talk about.
       b. Everyone that was assigned to a station make sure to look into all of the information needed.
